If you have registered as a customer (physician) for the appointment booking service, we process the data you provided during registration for the purpose of establishing and carrying out the business relationship.
Legal basis: Your data is processed on the basis of contract fulfillment.
Recipients of the data: The eTermin software, through which appointments are booked, is technically operated by eTermin GmbH, Mättivor 3, 6430 Schwyz, Switzerland (“eTermin”) as a data processor. Your data is stored in Germany.
If the transmission of your data relevant to a particular case is necessary to fulfill the contract or on the basis of a legal requirement, it will additionally be transmitted to the following recipient categories:
- IT service providers (eTermin GmbH)
- Banks
- Legal representatives
- Auditors, accountants, and tax advisors
- Courts
- Competent administrative authorities
- Contractual and business partners
- Insurance companies
Retention period: We process your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the contract or as required by statutory obligations (e.g., under tax and commercial retention requirements). As a rule, we retain data for seven years.
3.3. Provision of the Appointment Booking Service
If you engage us to book your appointments, we process your data to carry out and provide this service within the scope of the business relationship.
Legal basis: Your data is processed on the basis of contract fulfillment.

Recipients of the data: If the transmission of your data relevant to a particular case is required on the basis of a legal requirement, it will be transmitted to the following recipient categories:

4.3. Right to erasure: You may request the deletion of your personal data if one of the grounds listed in Art. 17 GDPR applies.
4.4. Right to restriction of processing: You may request the restriction of processing of your personal data if one of the grounds listed in Art. 18 GDPR applies.
4.5. Right to data portability: You may request that your personal data be transferred in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and have the right to transfer this data to another controller without hindrance from us, provided one of the grounds listed in Art. 20 GDPR applies.
4.6. Right to object: If our processing of your personal data is based on Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR (public interest or exercise of official authority) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), you may object to the processing.
4.7. Right to withdraw consent: You may withdraw any consent you have given for the processing of your data at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on your consent before the withdrawal.
